Cooling off – why it’s important
22/09/2020
It’s always good to take a moment to think before any big decision. And having any kind of facial aesthetics treatment is a big decision – whether it’s your first time or whether you’ve been having continued treatment. At Hello Me, once you’ve had your initial consultation and we’ve discussed your treatment, we will give you time to digest everything before you book your next appointment. Here’s what to think about in the cooling-off period…
- What am I trying to achieve with facial aesthetics, and will my treatment plan give me this? Think carefully about your goals for the treatment and the overall look you would like. It may take one treatment in one area, several treatments in multiple areas, whatever the plan, will it get you to where you want to be? If there’s any doubt, speak to us again and we can review your plan, adjust if necessary or give reassurance
- Am I prepared for the treatment itself? Treatment involves needles, harsh lights, maybe a short period of discomfort. Whilst we minimise any pain, like with dental procedures, you need to be prepared. We’ll talk you through the procedure so nothing comes as a surprise. We’ll also help with recovery and provide advice and support all the way
- What do I tell my friends and family? For some people, the stigma of having the procedure can make them feel self-conscious about going out in public afterwards, whilst others are very open about it and can’t wait to reveal all. You will notice an immediate change, as will your friends and family. But our ethos is subtle rejuvenation, so you will always look like you, nobody else. You do need to think about it, and what, you want to tell people afterwards
Once you’ve given all of the above some careful thought, and spoken to us for any advice you need, you can get back in touch to book your appointment for treatment and get on the ladder to a younger you.
